| Mission RIF is the oldest and largest children and family literacy organization in the country. The mission of RIF in Chicago is to ensure that every child in the Chicago area has the opportunity to learn to love reading. We do this by: 1) Providing children with the opportunity to choose books to read and keep. 2) Providing programs and support to families so that they can facilitate the literacy of their children. 3) Work together with other stakeholders in improving the educational and life opportunities for children through literacy. |
